About Rick Wood
Space science, explained with room for questions.
Rick created StarPixels to make astronomy clear, sourced, and useful to curious beginners and active observers.
How StarPixels works
Stories start with a specific question or a familiar idea. They use named sources and distinguish established evidence from open questions.
Rick identifies first-hand observing or equipment experience as personal experience. Affiliate links and other commercial relationships are disclosed beside the relevant recommendation.
StarPixels is an independent creator site. It does not present Rick as a scientist or professional astronomer.
