On October 22, Hera (https://www.abovethenormnews.com/2026/10/24/asteroid-defence-test/) completed its second major braking maneuver, cutting its closing speed by about 70 meters per second to about 20 meters per second. It reaches the Didymos system on November 4, where it will measure Dimorphos and the aftermath of NASA's 2022 DART impact.
