It took 100 hours of telescope time and a special oxygen filter to pull three new phantoms (https://science.nasa.gov/image-article/apod-2026-october-21-new-ghosts-revealed-in-cassiopeia/) out of the dark around gamma Cassiopeia. All three glow blue with ionized oxygen, and what's ionizing them is still a mystery.
